People are saying that Joan Rivers was a racist/homophobic/evil person, people are celebrating her death and that’s bullshit.

You know what? Joan Rivers was a believer of LGBT rights- not homophobic.

Yes, she offended a lot of people with her jokes, but that was just a part of her job. She…

sergethecurious:

Joan Rivers was a legend to me. She wasn’t a saint, and she’d be the first to say it. What she was, was an incredibly funny woman.

As someone who very recently lost a loved one, I understand the loss and pain that her family, friends, and fans are experiencing. Like Michael Jackson, Amy Winehouse, and Whitney Houston, Joan was an entertainer, but also a human being, a mother, a grandmother, and friend to many.

When a person passes, respect is due. If not for them, then for the loss of their loved ones. The hateful comments about her death are vile and unnecessary, imagine her young grandson reading them online in this difficult time.

No one is perfect. She wasn’t, and she’d let you know that neither where you. But she’d make you laugh about it.

She was fucking funny.

Rest peacefully Joan.
